The Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam (UPSEE) 2020 is scheduled to commence on May 10, 2020. UPSEE exams enable potential candidates to seek admission in desirable colleges or institutions for various courses in undergraduate and postgraduate level. The examination will be conducted by Dr. A. P. J Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Uttar Pradesh. Around 21 government 735 private educational institutions affiliated to AKTU and candidate’s admission is based on the UPSEE scores. Excluding these institutions aside, there are other colleges in Uttar Pradesh who accept UPSEE scores. Earlier the students could apply till March 15, but AKTU postponed the last date to March 31, to apply for the examination. The UPSEE application form was released on January 27, 2020.
The UPSEE application form 2020 is available on the website upsee.nic.in. First and foremost the candidate needs to register, fill basic information details, upload scanned images of required documents and pay the application fee.
The eligibility criteria for UPSEE application form is 10+2 pass in the case of an undergraduate candidate, and graduate degree in the case of postgraduate. The UPSEE application form 2020 is going to be released only online. There is no hard copy available for the UPSEE Application form 2020. - Now the candidate has to provide basic information like name, date of birth, parent’s name, email address etc.
- Verify all the entered information and click on the ‘I agree’ to confirm the registration.
- Now that registration is finished, candidates can proceed by filling the UPSEE application form by filling personal details such as date of birth, gender, nationality etc.
- After filling personal information, enter course details like details of the qualifying exam and the three preferred cities for examination.
- Next enter educational details like course name, year of passing, roll number, result mode, etc.
- After this, upload all the scanned images of signature and photograph following the UPSEE format.
- Review the details entered and pay the application fee.
- The UPSEE application fee is Rs. 1300/- for male candidates and Rs. 650 for female candidates.
- Applicants can pay the fees through debit card, credit card, net banking or e-wallets.
- After submitting, the candidate must print out of the application form.
The documents required for the UPSEE application form are email id, phone number, ID proof, High school certificate for undergraduate candidates, and degree certificate for postgraduate candidates.
The UPSEE Counselling 2020 will take place during the last week of June 2020. The UPSEE Counselling 2020 will commence after the declaration of results. Candidates who get qualifying marks in the entrance examination will be called for the UPSEE Counselling 2020. After the entrance examination, a separate merit list will be prepared for all the courses. Soon after the results are announced, the merit list is supposed to be out in June 2020. Only candidates who have their name in the merit list can attend the UPSEE Counselling 2020.
The UPSEE Counselling 2020 will commence during the month of July 2020. Selected candidates are supposed to pay a registration fee for the counselling session to begin. The registration fee for General and OBC candidates will be Rs. 20,000 and for SC/ST candidates the registration fee will be Rs. 12,000. The registration fee will be adjusted during the admission process. The candidate has the ability to freeze the allotted and quit the UPSEE counselling 2020 process, browse through the seat on hold for further rounds of counselling and also withdraw the entire counselling session.
